The verdict is in! BIG JOY was recently awarded the Grand Jury Prize for “Best Documentary Feature” at the Florida Film Festival. Each year this festival premieres the best in current, independent, and international cinema in Orlando, Florida. We are humbled by this honor, and offer our gratitude to jurors Sari Gilman, Dylan Marchetti (of Variance Films), and Stephen Whitty for selecting our film over many other worthy documentaries.
